Susie's Cakes

Description

Custom wedding cakes are the specialty of Susie Edwards, owner of Susie's Cakes. A native of Buenos Aires, Susie has brought her unique talents of cake design and decorating to Houston, where she has designed amazing cakes and delightful desserts for over two generations.

Couples can choose from very traditional styles to more unique, personalized wedding cakes. Her gorgeous cakes are decorated from everything from edible pearl beads, handmade gum paste flowers, and sugar flowers to intricate hand-painted designs and sparkling rock candy geode accents. Her cakes have been decorated with designer logos, watercolor flowers, love poems, sparkling gold geometric designs, and everything in between.

Best of all, Susie's cakes taste as good as they look! Her most popular flavors include Raspberry, Italian Créme, Grand Marnier, Butter Kahlua and traditional white cake, offering over twenty different flavors and fillings. Lastly, Susie won't forget the grooms! Whether it be a 5-foot-tall replica of the University of Texas Tower and Administration Building, a chic cigar box cake, a Gibson guitar cake, an A&M Class Ring cake, or a (light-up!) Star Wars Millennium Falcon cake, Susie's grooms' cakes are a favorite among Houston couples! Call Susie today to schedule an appointment and tasting.

Testimonials

"Susie did an amazing job on my wedding cake. The icing was to die for. The cake was so good and fresh. I looked at several places and knew when I took my first bite this was the cake I wanted. I highly recommend her. She was so sweet and very helpful. Thank you, Susie! " —Jessica A.

"Susie's cakes can't be beaten. They are all delicious. She was within our budget, and it was one of the easiest decisions we made related to our wedding. We had her Italian cream cake, and have had lots of great reviews from our guests."Dovie Crouse

"We used Susie's for our wedding cake (and groom's cake) because it came as a part of our package with the Houstonian. Our cakes were absolutely gorgeous and delicious. I've been to a ton of weddings where the cake either looked good in pictures OR tasted great, but never both. You can have both with Susie." —B.B.
