We’re excited to share our newest wedding editorial at The Vault at Corinthian Houston – a hidden gem that exudes a modern and sophisticated vibe nestled in the heart of downtown Houston.
Completed in 1905, the building was the first skyscraper in the city, playing a significant role in Houston’s economic development, and was home to the original First National Bank Vault for over half a century.
The dramatic ceremony space had a bold red aisle lined with tall lit candles leading to the imposing bank vault door, which was flanked by red rose installations by Kirksey Gregg Productions. Marcela, the founder of Malleret Designs, who spearheaded the shoot, says, “Our design concept for the historic bank venue was to harmoniously blend the old with the new while preserving the timeless elegance of the building’s Neoclassical architecture.”
Our dashing grooms wore sleek suits, velvet bowties and classy cufflinks from b.Kreps&Co. TAG Heuer and TUDOR watches complemented the wedding bands, all from Zadok Jewelers, tying the sophisticated look together.
Tables were set with white florals, warm candlelight and linens in deep red hues. The elegant place settings, white lilies, tall pillar candles and coordinating linens decorated the adjoining space of the Vault, creating a visual delight for guests. “We carefully chose a color palette that enhances the intricate details of the space,” says Marcela of Malleret Designs.
