Molly + Rob
A casual meeting with mutual friends at a low-key cantina two years ago turned into the highest form of devotion, when Rob asked Molly to be his wife, at her family’s ranch, on Easter weekend, 2018. And while planning their Houston wedding from afar—the couple resides in Dallas—had its challenges, having Jim Gray of Grayhouse Events Atelier as their coordinator and stylist made things a whole lot easier. Following their church ceremony, the couple joined 400 well-wishers for a reception at The Houstonian Hotel, Club & Spa, where lush greenery, white flowers and warm lighting created an “elegant, rustic feel.” On the dance floor, props and decor in a palette of red, white and blue, evoked a patriotic American theme, the bride notes. “The groom has a pipe dream to become president one day, so we surprised him with the American theme, and hats that said, ‘Bobby for President,’” Molly explains. “For our sendoff we gave everyone a flag that said, ‘Clark 2018,’ like a campaign banner.” Also, she adds, “We love to dance, so we had a blast on the dance floor! It was the happiest celebration—our hearts are so full.”
