Kaitlyn and Jonathon’s storybook romance began when the future bride met her future groom at his coming-home party from military service in 2012…and they’ve been in love ever since. For their spectacular wedding at New York’s Oheka Castle, on Long Island’s Gold Coast, the bride arrived to the ceremony in a horse-drawn “Cinderella” carriage bedecked in delicate white flowers. Meticulously planned and styled by Houston’s Grayhouse Events Atelier, the couple’s ultra-romantic wedding celebration was as lavish as it was fun for the newlyweds and their 130 guests. Following a four-course meal of filet mignon and Chilean seabass, guests indulged in a dessert buffet and an 11-tier flower-and-crystal-encrusted cake flown in from Houston’s legendary Susie’s Cakes. “Our wedding was an absolute fairytale,” says the bride, “from our venue, to the lights, to the band, to our family and friends, to the decor and the massive cake, to having our daughter witness us saying, ‘I do,’ to my 75-pound wedding dress that had over 40,000 Swarovski crystals sewn onto it, to the amazing Grayhouse team and the team we worked with at Oheka Castle!”
