Kaygan + Andrew
Andrew proposed to Kaygan at a surprise birthday celebration amongst family and friends in a most touching and romantic way. Their catholic ceremony on January 5 was enhanced by the angelic singing of the Fort Bend Boys Choir as Kaygan walked down the aisle to her dashing groom in an Inbal Dror gown and cape, accompanied by bridesmaids in black jumpsuits and adorable little flower girls and ring bearer. The couple entrusted the Dallas and Houston based celebrity design firm Todd Events with the planning, design, decor and florals for the event. The Astorian was transformed into a New York style modern club, a symphony of copper, neutrals, black and shades of green for the reception. The couples' biggest challenge was ensuring they had enough different and exciting details to make their guests feel special and welcomed. The many personal touches at the celebration included custom acrylic signs in calligraphy, cascading greenery, modern floral arrangements, lots of candles and deep velvet lounge seating. Guests enjoyed interactive food stations by Cordúa Catering and the delicious four tier marbleized white and gold cake by Susie's Cakes, and the luxurious lounges. They were entertained by a live violinist and DJ playing a combination of original music and favorite popular music. Of their celebration the newlyweds say, "We loved every moment of it and wished it could have lasted forever!"
