Tucked away in a quiet, peaceful part of Houston, Texas, Ouisie's Table's gorgeous decor and modest architecture offer a sublime backdrop for both ceremonies and receptions. Originally a brown-bag lunch service in 1973, it has grown into a beautiful venue for those that appreciate understated elegance and thoughtful service for their weddings and receptions.
The entire place feels like home and features a variety of hideaway spots to capture photographs, exchange vows and celebrate with friends and family in a peaceful setting. For couples envisioning an outdoor wedding, the gardens offer flourishing greenery, dramatic archways and a patio with subtle lighting, idyllic for an evening reception or a cocktail area. Couples have a variety of places to choose from when hosting at Ouisie's Table. The entire venue readily accommodates anywhere from 8 to 300 guests.
Main Dining Room
This space is lavish, with high ceilings with fans, an over-sized fireplace and a large blackboard, reminiscent of accessories from the past. It can seat up to 135 guests or up to 200 in an open-area reception.
Little Garden and Bears' Garden
These areas offer weeping trees and elegant columns. They offer added space for ceremonies and receptions hosted in one of the other spaces available.
This area boasts ornate ceiling fans and large bay windows. It opens to the Bears' Garden, with space to accommodate up to 95 seated guests or it may be divided up to seat guests between 20 and 30 people. It can be used in tandem with the Main Dining Room or used as a pre-ceremony entertainment space.
This space allows guests to cozy up near the romantic fireplace after a short stroll through the quaint garden. It seats up to 48 guests and allows up to 70 guests for an open-area reception or 135 if rented in conjunction with the Little Garden space.
Cooper's Bin is suitable for a small, private celebration of up to 14 guests. A trip through the kitchen is necessary to access this space, making it exclusive for rentals. It doubles as a wine cellar, therefore remaining a cool 65 degrees. Southern Food, eclectic tendencies.
