Vicky + Matt
Introduced by mutual friends after college, Matt and Vicky soon found each other drawn to one another’s hearts and cultures—and to the vision of a future together: “Matt slowly became Mexican, and I learned Yiddish,” Vicky says. “From then, we went on to crisscross the country in order to see each other, on overnight planes, trains, and in cars, so we could continue to grow and create a life together.” She describes their wedding’s “French countryside” theme, detailing an indoor garden filled with white peonies, tulips, freesia and orchids, along with boxwood walls, ivory velvet chairs, mercury glass and crystal votives. “We danced all night long, until after 3 a.m.,” she says. “It was truly the most amazing first day of our lives as husband and wife.”
