Peach, Gold & Teal Wedding at The Sam Houston Hotel

Ladies, you never know where you’ll meet the one… He might just live in the same apartment building as you. Just ask Houston bride Kelly who met Miguel at a community barbeque thrown by a mutual friend. It was only a matter of weeks after meeting that Kelly and Miguel had their first date, and the rest was history. The lovely couple chose the Veranda by *17 at The Sam Houston Hotel which provided the perfect backdrop for their modern-vintage wedding theme. Gold mercury glass centerpieces and warm amber lighting filled the room. Sounds gorgeous, right? Just wait ‘til you see the sweet pictures. Rustic-Chic Spring Wedding at Old Glory Ranch

Whitney and Zak’s picture-perfect spring wedding at Old Glory Ranch was the very picture of elegant simplicity. “Old Glory Ranch is so beautiful that it doesn’t need a lot of decorations” says bride Whitney. “The elegant rustic setting of the outdoor patio along with the beautiful spring creations and centerpieces were all that were needed to evoke the perfect atmosphere.” She adds, “Our wedding was all about spring, family and being in love. I have always been a bit of a free spirit. I love being by the water, being outdoors, and I love flowers of any and every kind.” Wimberley’s Old Glory Ranch offered all of these elements, to which Whitney added vintage family wedding photos and filled the celebration with her favorite music. Champagne and Coral Vintage Wedding, Houston

“This was by far the happiest and most perfect day of my life,” says Houston bride Megan. “My fairy tale wedding came true.” Nothing could delight us more…except, perhaps, getting to look at photos of Megan and James’ vintage-elegant wedding celebration, in shades of champagne, ivory and coral. Of course, at the heart of this lovely Texas wedding was the bride herself, radiant in her keyhole-back Watters bridal gown, gorgeous updo and birdcage veil, surrounded by bridesmaids in flowing coral. Houston Heights Backyard Wedding Ceremony by Ama by Aisha Photography & Cinema

For their fall wedding, Houstonians Katheryne and Casey knew they wanted “a small, intimate ceremony so that we could have a meaningful event that focused on our family, and so our four dogs could participate,” the bride says. What better spot, then, for their vows, than the autumn-leaf-and-rose-petal-strewn backyard of their Houston Heights home? Shot by Aisha Khan of Ama by Aisha Photography & Cinema (who just happened to be our AWESOME official show photographer at the Jan. 26 I Do! Bridal Soiree at the Royal Sonesta Hotel Houston), the couple’s nuptials are the very picture of relaxed revelry and vintage-touched fun.
