Can’t decide what kind of gown will look best in your chosen venue? We’re to here to help, with this glimpse at four distinct Houston wedding venues paired with perfectly suited bridal styles for each!
THE VENUE: From its debut on the Houston wedding scene Chateau Cocomar has been enchanting brides with its European-castle opulence, and its gleaming marble surfaces, as far as the eye can see. Nestled in a lushly forested corner of northwest Houston, this fairytale venue, filled with gilded mirrors and imported antiques, appeals to princess brides with a taste for true grandeur.
Vewiser, who met Tiesha while the two were attending Lamar University, used a trip to Disney World to set the backdrop for his creative proposal. On New Year’s Day, after a visit to the Florida theme park, Vewiser presented his beloved with a photo album filled with pics from their trip…with one very special addition on the last page: a photo of an engagement ring. “He immediately got down on one knee and expressed his love for me, and how our love has grown over the years,” notes the bride. The pair sealed the deal in front of 240 friends and family with a gorgeous boho chic wedding designed and decorated by Plants N’ Petals. The Houston floral firm brought Tiesha’s vision of vivid hues and flower crowns to life. “I wanted to use bright colors for the flower arrangements and not the typical ‘wedding colors,'” the bride says. “We both agreed bright colors matched our relationship and vivid personalities so we wanted to incorporate that in our wedding.” In addition to the fabulous decor, the newlyweds and their guests enjoyed delicious offerings from Houston’s Café Natalie Catering which included chicken parmesan, salmon, roasted vegetables and garlic mashed potatoes. After a night of dancing and fun, the festivities ended off with an incredible fireworks display. “Our wedding was everything we wanted and more, truly a blessing from God and a dream come true!”
For effortlessness, look for comfortable, wearable A-line dress silhouettes, feather-light layers of tulle, diaphanous overlays and soft, supple lace. This Fall 2018 wedding collection’s elegance is expressed with intricate moonstone and sterling beading, which add luminous sparkle and shimmer. What do we love about this Winnie Couture collection? Pretty much everything, y’all. But what we love most is that it lends itself to such an array of styling options, from super glamorous to relaxed boho chic. Click here to read the rest of this post »
