Brittany and Zach met in middle school and quickly became best friends. Fast forward to their senior year homecoming dance where Zach took the first step towards love by asking Brittany to dance. “With the nudge from my mother and best friend, I agreed to risk the closest friendship I ever had for a chance at love,” recalls the bride. “Later that night, he formally asked me to be his girlfriend, and 8 years later that friendship is still the biggest foundation of our love together.” During the winter of 2017, Grant talked Brittany into going to a last-minute photo session saying his mother wanted family portraits. Although annoyed at the 24-hour notice, Brittany quickly found an outfit and arrived at the session where the photographer asked the couple to write down what they love most about one another on a chalkboard while standing back to back. “When I turned around his board read ‘that she has no idea I’m about to propose’ and he was down on one knee holding that sign,” says Brittany. “Who couldn’t say yes to that!”
For their garden wedding at picturesque Kemah Gardens, the couple came up with unique wedding ideas to celebrate their nuptials in a “different” way. Notes the bride: “Our seating chart was a crossword puzzle you had to play to find your seats, our sign-in board was a glass infinity symbol that encompassed our fingerprints in the loops, and at the ceremony we did a lock-and-key board, throwing the key in the lake behind us and our board had a Harry Potter quote we both loved. For our first dance, we choreographed our dance with a waltz and added some sign language because it was one of our favorite classes together in high school.” A beautiful palette of blush and white with touches of burgundy and lots of vinery set the tone for a garden wedding celebration. Following a romantic outdoor ceremony beneath Kemah Gardens’ flower-adorned vintage arbor, the couple joined 100 of their loved ones for a relaxing and fun reception in the wedding venue’s comfortable, climate-controlled pavilion. Says Brittany, “The whole thing was just an absolutely beautiful day with just enough unique surprises to make it our own!” Join us in wishing this sweet couple a lifetime of love and scroll down to see their romantic garden wedding. Asmita and Rishab kicked off the New Year with a marriage celebration that perfectly captured the couple’s exuberant personalities and Hindu culture. Asmita says it was their “shared love of music and dancing” that initially attracted her to Rishab, and vice versa, which they certainly expressed on their wedding day!
The night began with a lively sangeet, which Asmita says was “a very cool way to kick off the celebration, with killer dance performances by both sides of the family, mehndi artists and a selfie station.”

“This was by far the happiest and most perfect day of my life,” says Houston bride Megan. “My fairy tale wedding came true.” Nothing could delight us more…except, perhaps, getting to look at photos of Megan and James’ vintage-elegant wedding celebration, in shades of champagne, ivory and coral. Of course, at the heart of this lovely Texas wedding was the bride herself, radiant in her keyhole-back Watters bridal gown, gorgeous updo and birdcage veil, surrounded by bridesmaids in flowing coral. Our happiest wishes to the bride and groom—and our thanks to the newlyweds for sharing their perfect day with us…and YOU!
There’s a certain, special, sense-of-mystery romance that only online dating can create. Just ask recent bride Vanessa, who spoke by phone to eHarmony match Eric almost every day for THREE MONTHS before meeting him face-to-face. Luckily, their in-person meeting was just as romantic as those many, many phone calls, and almost two years to the day they first laid eyes on each other, the pair wed in front of 250 loved ones at a magnificent Madera Estates celebration. While Vanessa says that selecting her song list and making her seating chart were no piece of cake, the wedding itself was pure sweetness, done up in elegant shades of ivory and blush, Vanessa radiant in her Maggie Sottero gown from Brickhouse Bridal. But let us go ahead and let Ama Photography & Cinema’s photos tell the story of this lovely couple’s special day. Best wishes, Vanessa & Eric!
