Hallie and Reece’s love story has a beginning even they can’t quite pin down. According to their friends, the two crossed paths at a bar while attending Texas A&M University, brought together through mutual friends. Their connection sparked during football season, though Reece took his time before asking Hallie on a proper date. He wanted to make sure they could make the distance work before taking that step. “It worked out okay, I would say,” Hallie laughs.

When the time came to propose, Reece had a plan. He slipped away that morning under the guise of a golf outing while Hallie’s friends kept her occupied. After a morning of getting her nails done, Hallie and her friends headed to Herman Park, where she believed she was stepping in for modeling photos for her friend’s company. While posing for solo shots in front of a serene waterfall, she turned around to find Reece down on one knee. Happy tears followed a joyful “yes,” and the newly engaged couple celebrated with friends before arriving at a surprise engagement party in The Heights.

On November 14, Hallie and Reece pledged their love at a Galveston garden club, surrounded by fragrant blooms in shades of pink. When it came time to walk down the aisle, Hallie walked down with her dad toward Reece with the biggest smile on her face.

Following the ceremony, family and friends made their way to The Tremont House for a classic pink reception. Artfully arranged florals and tapered candles lined the family-style tables, with pops of pink carrying through every detail of the ballroom. The couple sipped their signature cocktails throughout dinner, and before hitting the dance floor, both changed into their second looks. Hallie made her entrance in pink cowgirl boots, setting the tone for the evening ahead. The night was a full-on party, complete with dancing, a sparkling Champagne tower and a festive streamer send-off.
