Pierce and  Weddings in Houston’s very own Erin’s love story began long before their wedding day. They first met in eighth grade and grew up in the same friend group, but it wasn’t until homeroom junior year, when alphabetical order placed Pierce in the seat beside Erin, that everything shifted. Pierce asked Erin to the homecoming dance, and afterward their group headed to Galveston for a weekend getaway. Long talks on the beach that weekend set the foundation for the years ahead.

For the next eight years, Galveston became the setting for their most cherished memories, thanks to Pierce’s family beach house. So when it came time to propose, the island was the natural choice. Before what Erin thought would be a simple birthday lunch, Pierce suggested a walk along the shore. There, beside a heart made of seashells in the sand, he asked her to spend forever with him. Later that day, the celebration continued at the couple’s favorite Heights bar, where their closest friends and family waited to surprise Erin.

The wedding weekend began with a rehearsal dinner and welcome drinks in the Historic Galveston Strand, where Rendered Moments created custom watercolor portraits for guests. The following evening, Pierce and Erin exchanged vows in the ballroom of The Tremont House, surrounded by fragrant white and blue blooms. A meaningful detail: the bride’s stepfather officiated.

Guests enjoyed a chic cocktail hour featuring a Champagne wall by Space City Toasts before entering a minimalistic yet stylish reception lit by blue tapered candles, elegant bud vases, and soft votive light. After a romantic first dance and seated dinner, the celebration continued late into the night.

Pierce and Erin ended the evening with a New Orleans-style second-line exit, parading down the grand staircase and beneath the iconic Mardi Gras arch, a grand finale to their Galveston celebration.
