Stunning Style Shoot At Hotel Granduca

DC Stanley Photography, Hotel Granduca, Black wedding dress, white wedding dress
Photo: DC Stanley Photography | Video: J. Ernest Media | Venue: Hotel Granduca | Flowers and Decor: Mod Effects Events | Hair and Makeup: Polished Makeup & Hair | Cake: Common Bond Cafe & Bakery | Jewelry: Shaftel Diamonds | Gowns: Modern Affinity

Join us as we travel today to the Palace of the Duke– Hotel Granduca. Reminiscent of an Italian villa, Hotel Granduca, in Houston is an inspiration from the life of Adalberto Malatesta, Granduca of Monfallito. Our style shoot showcases the exquisite jewel box feel of this boutique Houston Hotel, a hidden gem for intimate weddings, that exudes the warmth of a grand home, with exquisite old-world style and service but with all the modern amenities.

Our first look consists of fresh spring details with our model in a white lace ballgown. Dropdown pear-shaped peach morganites were the earrings of choice from Shaftel Diamonds. Mod Effects Events beautifully displayed arrangements of fanciful roses and peonies in shades of violet and magenta that fit the airy setting created by Hotel Granduca‘s window wall. This evergreen theme made for an ethereal look that conveyed the feeling of spring and was magnificently captured by DC Stanley Photography, with video (to come) by J. Ernest Media.

Next, for a change of scenery and style, we dove deep into the mystery of dark accents, glowing candle lights, and enchanting roses. Modern Affinity provided the stunning black lace gown that exuded sophisticated elegance, while Polished Makeup & Hair complemented it with a smokey eye, softly curled pony and a bold red lip. Common Bond Bistro & Bakery added to the theme by designing a cake with cascading red roses. Dramatic and romantic would best describe this alluring candlelit look that suits the bold but warm ambiance of Hotel Granduca.

Hotel Granduca is a must-visit as you search for locations to host your wedding events. Whether you are looking for an intimate ceremony by the pool, a beautiful ballroom reception, a rehearsal dinner in the exquisite restaurant or a bridal tea in the library to the music of a harpist, and central accommodations for your out-of-town guests, Hotel Granduca offers it all.
