Alex and Ryan both moved to Scottsdale, Arizona, at the same time and met on their first weekend there. They became best friends, which eventually turned into a serious relationship. The couple moved to Austin, Texas, in 2019 and began their lives together.

“Our love story started at a time when we unknowingly needed each other,” the bride says. Heather, a respiratory therapist, and Joe, in his residency for emergency medicine, met in passing through work before sparks flew. Eventually, Joe messaged Heather on Facebook, which he refused to admit until their wedding day, and the couple hit it off on their first date.

The pandemic brought this couple together in an unconventional way. Mitchell, a baseball player for the Colorado Rockies organization, was sent home to Houston after the pandemic first began. Soon after, the pair met on a popular dating app which led to an unforgettable first date via Face time. The bride says, “We hit it off right away, and it was love at first date in an odd pandemic-state-of-world kind of way.”
An Elegant Wedding in the San Antonio Hill Country
Kristina and Clayton’s love story started at a Sky High for Kids event, where Kristina was the event lead, and Clayton volunteered. Although they didn’t interact much, fate brought them together a few months later when Kristina decided to try a dating app. It only took 24 hours for the couple to match, and they went on a date soon after. The bride says, “He was my very first and last Bumble date. The rest, as they say, is history.”
