“Our love story started at a time when we unknowingly needed each other,” the bride says. Heather, a respiratory therapist, and Joe, in his residency for emergency medicine, met in passing through work before sparks flew. Eventually, Joe messaged Heather on Facebook, which he refused to admit until their wedding day, and the couple hit it off on their first date.
Phuong and Christopher met in college through a mutual friend and have been inseparable ever since. Flash forward to 2020, when Christopher popped the question to Phuong on New Year’s Eve.
Harry and Margaret met at The University of Texas in 2008 but did not start dating until seven years later when Margaret was attending dental school in Utah. After a four-year long-distance romance, Harry proposed to Margaret on a trip to Napa Valley, CA, where they enjoyed a weekend of wine tasting. “It was the perfect location; breathtaking, romantic and intimate,” says Margaret. The tour guide who was in on the surprise encouraged the couple to walk the grounds where a table was set up with beautiful flowers and champagne and Harry popped the question.
Zach and Elizabeth’s paths crossed multiple times, but their love story didn’t begin until 2018. Then, on January 29, 2021, while the couple enjoyed a celebratory dinner for Zach’s new job and a move to Austin, their friends were busy preparing for Zach’s romantic proposal. Elizabeth says, “When Zach and I returned from dinner, he “popped” the question with just the two of us then continued the surprises by calling our parents who were waiting nearby to join the celebration.”
Jessica and Carter first met while attending a business leadership program at Texas A&M University. Over time, the pair grew closer, and when Carter returned to campus the following semester, he asked Jessica out on their first date.
