When Hurricane Harvey left many of their families’ and friends’ homes and businesses flooded, and out-of-town guests unable to travel to Houston, Sarah and Mohsin had no choice but to reschedule their planned Labor Day 2017 weekend of wedding festivities. Fortunately for them, “Kat Creech was the best wedding planner—she handled everything!” Sarah says. When their newly scheduled November wedding date arrived, it brought with it “a monochromatic white masterpiece fit for royalty, but designed for the humblest, kindest couple in the world,” Creech says. “When we walked into The Ballroom at Bayou Place to take pictures before the guests entered, we were overwhelmed—it was absolutely breathtaking,” Sarah recounts. “We were so taken aback that our hearts were beating fast, and we had to compose ourselves.” The couple’s stunning main event followed multiple days of celebrating, including a festive mehendi party and traditional Pakistani ceremony, and was, in a word, “magical,” the bride says. “Our favorite part was dancing with our friends and family. We felt so loved!”
