It’s not easy to dream up the perfect proposal when the person you’re proposing to has been your best friend for the better part of a decade. But Sam, who met Samantha when the two were both UT students, rose to the challenge, first with a surprise proposal while strolling in a neighborhood park in Houston’s summer swelter…then with a surprise engagement bash later that night, where friends had traveled in from far and wide to share in the couple’s joy. While the pair’s Lebanese-Persian nuptial festivities had all the elegance and glamour one would expect from in-demand event design firm Plants N’ Petals, and the esteemed Houstonian Hotel, Club & Spa, the celebration was, above all, FUN: sword dancers, drummers, confetti cannons, late-night breakfast tacos, and chicken-and-waffles…”every moment was a favorite moment!” the bride says.
