Lisa + Michael
Knowing that Lisa had a “special place in her heart” for Disney, Michael chose Disney World’s beloved “Cinderella’s Castle” as the setting for his marriage proposal. It was an “incredibly special” moment, in Lisa’s words. For their early spring wedding, Lisa explains, “We wanted the day to be centered around celebrating the lives we had built together, and enjoying the company of our friends and families.” They selected French-Mediterranean inspired venue The Gallery as their wedding site, noting, “We found a beautiful feature on The Gallery in Weddings in Houston, and fell in love. We enjoyed getting to hear advice from Paula, the venue’s owner, in the magazine feature, and we knew how much heart she had poured into the venue.” As for the couple, they poured their own hearts into their special day, with a sunshine-filled outdoor ceremony, and a reception that featured a photo booth, a live event painter, and plenty of opportunities for conversation, high-energy dancing, and memory-making: “I am so lucky to be able to look back on our wedding day knowing that we took the time to enjoy the entire day, each other, and our families, who made it all happen.”
