A chance meeting with Stephen at a bar at the end of a long week sparked a conversation lasting well into the night and led Courtnie to declare that she had met the love of her life to her mom and best friend.
1.) They’ve got TONS of experience. Yup, while Any Occasion Tents & Events is a mere 15+ years young, this top Houston event rental firm is the offspring of Aztec Rental Center, a longtime and very successful family-owned Houston construction rental company. While Aztec Tents & Events may deal in gorgeous tents, sleek furniture and sparkly tabletop items for fancy to-do’s (rather than, say, jackhammers and air compressors), it does so with the expert customer care and professionalism honed by their parent company during a half century (whelp!) in business.
2.) They can turn the great outdoors into an elegant, climate-controlled celebration space. Poof! Just like that, Any Occasion can transform a lawn, field, patio or other al fresco area into the extension of an indoor event space, or into a party space all its own! Whether you need a little protection from the sun for your Houston wedding, or a full-scale structure, complete with doors, windows and hallways, Any Occasion can provide the party tent you need, and the expertise to put it up and take it down when and where you please.
3.) They have extra love for military members and first responders! Are you an active service member or one of the many Houstonians who have lent their efforts to Hurricane Harvey relief or other local emergencies? Let Any Occasion know, and present your military or first-responder ID/badge for a 10% discount on your wedding or event rental order!

Regan and Colin’s “Bohemian luxe” destination wedding at a ranch set on 300 acres of Texas countryside caught our eye immediately, with its white-on-white color palette, warmed by earth-tone accents, and its sense of fun and festivity. To that end, says Regan, “Our welcome bags were my big project! I didn’t want to skimp on the bags, after having been saved, myself, at many a wedding, by the late-night (or early-morning) snack bag. I also wanted to reinforce the idea of a weekend festival or camp, and give our guests something to carry their swimsuits or boots in during activities. We used our monogram on a simple canvas bag, inside which we tucked in our favorite local beer (Saint Arnold’s Lawnmower), a silver-antler bottle opener, and koozies. For the morning after we included bottled water with custom labels and packs of Advil and Emergen-C. We also threw in some snacks: a monogrammed bag of Buc-ee’s Beaver Nuggets (a Texas road-trip favorite of ours), a big bag of tortilla chips, and a little box of gourmet marshmallows. Last but not least, we had these amazing hand-painted cookies of dreamcatchers and flower-wearing longhorns. Each item was carefully chosen by us over the course of the planning process, and we spent the week of the wedding stuffing, sealing and packing the bags together.” Now THAT’S caring for your beloved guests. Good work, Regan and Colin…and good thoughts, from us, on your blessed union!

Robin first met Andrew back in 2003 when he hired her as his paralegal. “I had no idea my future husband was right down the hall all those years,” says Robin, who would one day marry that charming attorney in the garden of the home she would share with him in the heart of Houston’s Museum District. On that wonderful day, the couple’s home provided the perfect backdrop to complement their nature-inspired wedding theme, where shades of coral and peach provided pops of color among the soft beige and ivory decor. Following the enchanted-garden ceremony, a cocktail hour on the pool terrace treated guests to fine wine, cocktails and hors d’oeuvre. The reception took place in the backyard underneath a tent covered with quince branches and hung with a chandelier draped with flowers in shades of peach, apricot and coral. Swooning already? Yeah, we thought so. Check out the decadent details for yourself in our amazing photos by J. Cogliandro Photography. Congrats and well wishes to the newlyweds!
