Sara Witz and Anthony Gair had a storybook wedding on April 17th, 2021 after a casual introduction by a mutual friend at a concert led to a lifelong partnership. After Anthony pulled off an elaborate surprise engagement, the wedding planning began.
The couple chose the historic and stunning Corinthian-Houston for their wedding and reception. The majestic Corinthian columns, gorgeous marble floors and staircase, and the picturesque Grand Hall was the perfect venue for Sara and Anthony’s vision.
Shannon and Austin both have a deep appreciation for good food and great company. That is, after all, what brought the pair together! In 2015, Austin was working as a Chef at Tony’s when a beautiful blonde he’d never seen before found her way to the kitchen. After working side-by-side for the day, they went their separate ways until a year later when they reconnected at a Houston bar. Austin’s friend struck up a conversation with one of Shannon’s friends, and Shannon recognized Austin but couldn’t pinpoint where from. “He said he was a chef and it all clicked. We saw each other for almost every single day after that and haven’t been apart since!” said Shannon.
Then, on a warm, sunny Sunday in June 2019, the inseparable couple went to church and returned home to take their dog, Fennel, to the park. Austin insisted on wearing his church clothes despite Shannon’s concern that he’d be hot and grumpy. But still, he refused to change, instead dropping down on one knee in their backyard to ask the big question. Actually, he forgot to ask, “but that was perfect because he is a man of few words,” said Shannon. Regardless, she said yes and the couple began their wedding planning journey. When Devin first noticed Rachel, she was already wearing a white dress and veil. At the time, the pair were just 13 years old, but even still, Devin knew he’d marry that girl someday. And that’s exactly what he did! While Devin and Rachel dated for a few months, about a year later, they broke up because of the long-distance. But, in typical millennial fashion, Devin and Rachel connected through social media again in 2017. “One DM on Instagram, and less than a year later, we were engaged!” said Rachel.
The proposal was nothing short of magical. The couple was on a trip to the US Virgin Islands when Devin had Rachel follow a fun scavenger hunt, hop on a boat, and venture to a private island. With the whole beach to themselves, Devin popped the question, and Rachel happily said yes! With such a thoughtful, intimate engagement, it only fits that their wedding was the same.

Bryan Roth moved from Chicago to Houston for his ophthalmology residency at Baylor in 2015. A couple of months later, he swiped right on Houston native Leslie Goldberg’s profile on the Jewish dating app JSwipe, and their love story began. The couple’s life of togetherness, traveling, caring for their puppy and hiking, started from their first date over sushi and drinks. After four years together and a move to Ohio, Leslie was happily awaiting Bryan’s marriage proposal while Bryan made big plans to make it happen. The pandemic, however, threw a wrench in his plans forcing him to adapt.
From the moment Emma and Dylan first met, they knew they’d found someone special in each other. “I love how perfectly our personalities complement each other, and her ability to light up any room,” explained Dylan. Their proposal at the breathtaking Biltmore Estate in North Carolina was just as beautiful as their elegant blush wedding back home in Houston at the Royal Oaks Country Club.
