Tandu and Margarida first crossed paths through mutual friends in December 2016. It wasn’t until 2017 that their friendship blossomed, leading into something more.
After nurturing their relationship for some time, Tandu and Margarida began discussing the idea of marriage. Seeking the blessings of their respective parents, Tandu embarked on a heartfelt journey to ensure their families were aligned in support. With the foundation laid and their hearts set on a shared future, Tandu found proposing to Margarida a natural progression of their relationship.
On December 16, 2022, the couple sealed their love in an intimate ceremony surrounded by their closest family and friends. Nicole Johanna Photography captured every cherished moment, from the tender exchange of vows to the magical first kiss as newlyweds.
A special highlight of Tandu and Margarida’s wedding day was exchanging rings. “It was a moment when we got to give each other a symbol of our love,” the couple says. Following the ceremony, the couple’s celebration unfolded in an elegant ballroom adorned in white, gold and purple hues, illuminated by the soft glow of candlelight and the sparkle of crystal chandeliers.
Guests were treated to various delectable treats and a classic three-tier white wedding cake with gold accents. As the festivities drew to a close, Tandu and Margarida embarked on their honeymoon, venturing to the windy city.
