Starlet and Edose’s story began the way the best ones do, unexpectedly. At Edose’s annual Memorial Day BBQ in 2016, the two fell into easy conversation and discovered a connection. Starlet had gone to school with his little sister. Before the evening ended, Edose told her that he would marry her one day. He kept his word.

A few years later, Edose made it official in the most romantic way possible. Surrounded by family and friends, in a room filled with balloons and the soft, sweeping sounds of a harpist, Edose popped the question. “It couldn’t have been more perfect,” Starlet says.

On October 4, 2025, the couple celebrated their forever at Thompson Houston, by Hyatt. After spending the morning getting ready separately with their closest friends and family, Starlet and Edose exchanged vows in the foyer outside the hotel’s grand ballroom. A mirrored aisle, lush white florals and a live string quartet set the tone for the couple’s all-white wedding.

The reception that followed was nothing short of spectacular. Inside the all-white wedding in the venue’s grand ballroom, candlelight, blooming white arrangements and gold accents created an atmosphere that felt both opulent and warm. The color palette stayed true to its all-white vision, with soft Champagne details woven throughout. After their first dance, the couple changed into dazzling metallic and sequin looks before the evening truly ignited; stilt performers took the floor and guests danced alongside the newlyweds well into the night.
