A Romantic, Intimate Wedding Day at Thompson Houston

Ryan and Andrés first crossed paths during a night out with friends. Ryan was dancing at one end of the club, while Andrés and his group held down the other side. They met while getting drink refills. “That’s when it happened. A fleeting glance, an eternal moment,” Andrés says. “Conversation flowed like old friends. Laughter, stories and a connection growing with each word.” The very next day, Ryan invited Andrés to lunch, and from that moment on, they never wanted to spend a day apart.

The couple’s love story took flight on a private getaway to Culebra, Puerto Rico. As the sun began to set over Flamenco Beach, Ryan proposed to Andrés in a quiet, intimate moment. The serene sea breeze and golden light made the moment feel like it was just for them.

On April 4, 2025, Ryan and Andrés exchanged vows at the luxurious Thompson Houston, by Hyatt, with a breathtaking ceremony on the Sol 7 Green overlooking the downtown skyline. They walked down the aisle together, surrounded by love and support, both grooms holding back tears during the heartfelt ceremony. Afterward, guests joined them for cocktail hour outside before heading indoors to celebrate. A chic all-white color palette tied the day together, from the lush florals to the elegant tiered cake. As the music turned up, so did the energy! Disco-inspired hats, glow sticks, and nonstop dancing turned the reception into an all-out party.
