Catherine and Danny met in October 2022 in Chicago for what they assumed would be a quick drink before Catherine headed to a nearby party. That “quick drink” turned into a three-hour first date. When Catherine finally arrived at the party, she told her friend, “We’re either going to be best friends or end up together.” When Danny got home, clearly smitten, he told his friend he was “in trouble.” They were both right.
A year and a half into their relationship, Danny proposed during a two-week trip to the south of France. He had hinted at a proposal and kept jokingly dropping to one knee to “tie his shoes.” About a week in, he proposed in Nice on a scenic overlook covered in rose petals, with a cheering crowd gathered around them. A romantic dinner followed.
Wedding festivities began with a rehearsal dinner at Ouisie’s Table. On October 15, 2025, Catherine began the day getting ready at her parents’ home, where she and Danny shared a sweet first look before heading to the church. The church held deep meaning for the bride’s family, since both her parents and grandparents were married there. The same pastor who married her parents officiated.
The celebration continued at Corinthian Houston, which was filled with white and pale pink flowers, candlelight, and sparkling chandeliers. Lighting by Bright Star Productions added to the romantic glow of this blush-and-white wedding, while live entertainment from EastCoast Entertainment filled the venue. A long, serpentine head table created a striking focal point. Susie’s Cakes crafted a show-stopping seven-tier confection that towered above the guests, along with a groom’s cake designed as a Yeti cooler set against Wrigley Field, a fun tribute to their life in Chicago.
After dinner and dancing, guests headed downstairs to The Vault at Corinthian Houston, which transformed into a vibrant after-party venue, filled with bold reds, blues, and playful peacock details.
