Marcy + Eddie
Marcy and Eddie sat next to each other in a high-school math class for six months “before he finally made the first move,” recalls the bride. And it’s a good thing he did, too, because the pair became instant friends, and began dating soon after. While on a weekend trip to Las Vegas years later, Eddie got down on one knee and proposed to Marcy in a hotel room filled with red roses. “As if that wasn't perfect enough,” she says, “he flew both of our parents there as a surprise, to share the special moment with us.” For their summer nuptials, the pair wed in a traditional Catholic ceremony and then joined 300 of their loved ones for a “romantic and timeless” reception decorated in blush, ivory and gold accents. As for the bride’s favorite moment? “I remember looking around and seeing all of our friends and family dancing and surrounding Eddie and me,” she says. “The lights were dim, the band was playing and gold confetti was falling from the sky!”
