Brittany + Luis
Serving as a very successful wingwoman, Luis’s sister introduced Brittany to her very fortunate brother. Seven years later, Luis got down on one knee and proposed to Brittany under the bright lights of the Eiffel Tower. The lovebirds tied the knot on a romantically rainy day in Houston, surrounded by 230 family members and friends. The tented outdoor ceremony, made even more personal by the bride’s grandfather’s rendition of Elvis Presley’s “Falling in Love,” closed on this unforgettable note: “When we were pronounced husband and wife, the rain completely stopped, as if on cue,” the bride recounts, “and we walked out of the tent to find a beautiful rainbow waiting for us. It felt like a dream.” The reception, in Moffitt Oaks’ gorgeous ballroom, featured cascading wisteria, greenery and garlands. Sparkling chandeliers hung above the couple and their guests as they danced the night away, until the newlyweds’ big sparkler sendoff at the end of the night. Remembering the wonderful evening, Brittany says, “We couldn't help but just hold each other, kiss, and realize how truly blessed we are.”
