Michelle and Daniel’s love story began in Houston, where a summer connection deepened. For four years, the couple navigated the challenges of a long-distance relationship, frequently visiting each other and growing closer despite the miles between them. After years of commitment and cross-country flights, Michelle and Daniel settled together in California, where their relationship continued to blossom.
On a scenic drive along the 17-Mile Drive in Northern California, Daniel surprised Michelle with a romantic proposal, set against the iconic Pebble Beach coastline.
The couple returned to Houston to say “I do” on October 5, 2024. The ceremony took place under a blooming floral arch overflowing with white hydrangeas, roses, and verdant greenery. Before walking down the aisle, the couple shared a private first look and handwritten vows. “It was so special to have a quiet moment for the two of us before the hubbub of the rest of the day,” the bride shares.
The celebration continued with an al fresco cocktail hour, where Café Natalie served delicious bites and signature drinks adorned with festive straws and napkins featuring the couple’s kitten. Guests enjoyed passed hors d’oeuvres like flavorful chicken tinga tacos, tuna tartare, and short rib arepas.
EB Inc. Event Rentals enhanced the green and white reception decor with elegant linens inside the reception. For dinner, guests enjoyed gourmet cuisine, featuring a dual-entree menu of beef short ribs or grouper, accompanied by sides of duck fat fingerling potatoes and spicy green beans.
Throughout the evening, the couple and their guests enjoyed a savory coffee bar and indulged in late-night snacks from Chick-fil-A. In a heartfelt nod to their heritage, Michelle’s mother curated steam basket favors embossed with the double happiness symbol. The evening closed with a private last dance before Michelle and Daniel made their sparkling grand exit.
“Michelle and Daniel’s wedding was a beautiful celebration filled with joy, delicious food, and thoughtful details. We were delighted to play a small part in such a special day,” Katherine from Café Natalie shares.
