Cristina and Pranav met in high school, where they had classes together. However, they didn’t connect until senior year through mutual friends and social media. As they spent more time together, feelings began to develop between them.

When Pranav wanted to propose to Cristina, he incorporated an elaborate plan into their dinner date. Before going to the restaurant, Pranav told Cristina they needed to stop at a park to drop off some things to a friend. Pranav said his friend was running late at the park but wanted to show Cristina around. There, Pranav got down on one knee and popped the question.

On April 1, 2023, Cristina and Pranav exchanged vows in a blush, white, red Indian-fusion wedding at The Bell Tower on 34th. It started with a vibrant and lively baraat, a pre-ceremony celebration marking the groom’s grand entrance. The couple, wearing red and gold-colored traditional attire, had a bloom-filled Hindu ceremony of blush, white and red florals. After reciting vows, Cristina slipped into a white wedding gown for their traditional al fresco ceremony at the venue’s cascading Waterwall.

Cristina and Pranav’s wedding festivities concluded with a ballroom reception in blush and white decor and an elegant four-tier white wedding cake. “It was so amazing to see everyone we love come together for us,” the bride says.
