Mosie + Michael
Mosie and Michael were on the top of the Empire State Building when the groom-to-be got down on one knee and proposed to his beloved. “He told me he loved me and wanted to spend the rest of his life with me,” recounts Mosie. “Michael almost seemed astounded when I said, ‘Yes,’ which made us both laugh and forget our nerves.” Their luxurious 350-guest wedding began with a traditional Catholic ceremony which led into a gorgeous ballroom reception featuring an indoor garden of pink and white flowers, candles and lush greenery—all coordinated and designed by Todd Events. “I was surprised by the beauty of the room and how quickly the reception seemed to go by,” Mosie recounts. “Four p.m. to 12 a.m. is no small time frame, but Todd had five different music providers and just kept the fun going. We were never bored, not even once!” Elegant as the evening was, it was a whimsical personal touch that stands out in the bride’s memory: “The ‘doughnut wall’ really completed the night for me,” she notes. “Nothing says ‘Mosie was here’ quite like the crumbs of doughnuts in my wake.”
