Leah + Ryan
Leah and Ryan’s wedding story is one of true love and unfailing hope. Just two months after Ryan proposed, Leah’s mother succumbed to her battle with cancer. Devastated by the loss, Leah considered having a small wedding overseas, to avoid planning a large celebration without her mother at her side. But, she says, “As time progressed, I reflected on the many conversations my mother and I shared—prior to her diagnosis, we only visited one venue: Chateau Cocomar. As we entered the venue, my mother looked at me with a smile, and said, ‘This is the place I would like to see you get married.’” So, on the anniversary of her mother’s passing, Leah, radiant in a Kenneth Pool gown from Ivory Bridal Atelier, fulfilled her mother’s wish, by marrying her beloved Ryan amidst the grandeur of Chateau Cocomar, surrounded by luscious blush and ivory blooms by Flora & Eventi.“I couldn’t imagine planning a wedding without my mom, but my father stepped in and gave me the wedding he knew my mother always wanted me to have,” says Leah. “It was the wedding of my dreams.”
