Anne + William
When you’re a single bridesmaid in town for your friend’s wedding, you have to stand by the bride’s side, be on your A-game, and keep your eyes open… for a future mate. Anne spotted William at her friend’s rehearsal dinner and just had to know who he was. It turns out William was the photographer, and the bride’s cousin! “I lived in New York at the time, and William happened to be moving there a week after the wedding,” Anne adds. Sounds like it was meant to be, huh? The pair instantly hit it off, and after a few years of dating, they knew this was it. “William planned a surprise for me a few months later during a hiking trip in upstate New York. We found a spot to sit, and enjoyed a steak dinner by the fire pit with a fine bottle of wine,” recounts Anne. “While enjoying this unexpected delicious meal, he surprised me again with a ring!” Anne was dreaming of a Texas Hill Country wedding, and got exactly that. The lovebirds tied the knot at scenic King River Ranch during an idyllic Hill Country weekend, where the festivities included a bridal luncheon at the venue the morning of the wedding. After exchanging vows against a lush backdrop of sun-dappled trees and enjoying a delicious Mexican meal, Anne and William had the time of their lives “letting loose on the dance floor” with their guests!
