Amelia truly believes that timing is everything—after all, she and Jason met at the gym, chatted, and even went on a few dates, but it wasn’t until two years later when they reconnected over coffee that their relationship blossomed. “I was continually in awe of his thoughtfulness, devotion and loyalty…it wasn’t long before I had that deep, inner feeling that he is the one,” Amelia says. For their fall nuptials, the couple wanted “a classic and elegant wedding set in the natural, rustic beauty of the Northern California wine country,” the bride explains. Their evening reception took full advantage of the Culinary Institute of America’s gorgeous Greystone campus, where glowing votives bathed guests in soft light as they feasted on ahi tuna tartare, lamb chops and lobster ceviche. Inside Greystone’s renowned “barrel room,” pale blush, green and shades of orange brought autumn’s colors indoors. Notes Amelia: “Everything was superb.”
