An Elegant Summer Wedding at a Texas Chic Ranch
Tori and Miles first met at Baylor University in their law school orientation, which later led to a series of dates that never ended. On Valentine’s Day in 2020, on a trip to a law school competition, Tori was walking the bustling streets of New York City with her classmates. Her flight was scheduled for later that day back to Waco, where Miles was waiting. However, her classmates and family had another plan in mind for her. Tori mindlessly followed the group of students on the way to a brunch spot which happened to be tucked near a stunning view of the Brooklyn Bridge and Manhattan skyline, which lead to the perfect picture opportunity for the group. “Once I started going down the stairs, I saw Miles. I immediately started crying happy tears because I knew what would happen. He proposed down by the river with a gorgeous backdrop, and both of our families were there to see it,” says Tori. Bachelor Nation’s Jordan Kimball + Christina’s 1920’s-Inspired Wedding
Reality TV star, Jordan Kimball, a former contestant on The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise, met the love of his life, “total rom-com style,” at the LAX airport. Christina, a teacher from Houston, was the one who ultimately stole his heart. They ended up going on a date the same day they met, and after some time, a proposal was in the makes. Jordan booked a photographer on Christmas Eve and planned on proposing during their family photos. The ring arrived just hours before, and Jordan had to drive to FedEx to retrieve it. Overall, his plan worked out, and Christina said yes. “Boy, the look on her face! I got her, literally!” says Jordan.
MLB Player + College Sweetheart Celebrate Their Love Story at The Astorian
Before the celebration of their love story at The Astorian, it first started when Roxanne and Nick met at a backyard party in their beloved college town, Louisville, while they sat on top of a garage with one of their mutual friends. After getting to know one another, they exchanged numbers, and Roxanne called herself “Party Time Volleyball” on Nick’s phone, which, to this day, he hasn’t updated.
As time went on, the two realized they had a lot of the same classes, and they kept running into one another by chance. A few years after college, Roxanne was traveling to Louisville for volleyball and Nick had just gotten back from his first pro season in the MLB for the Texas Rangers. They ran into each other again and spent the evening talking nonstop on an outdoor heated patio under the trees when Nick finally asked her on a date.
A Boho Terracotta Wedding at Cricket Hill Ranch
A little under a decade ago, Mackenzie and Travis met in Austin, Texas and shortly went on their first date. However, it wasn’t until four years later that they started to get serious and realized they had everything they ever wanted right in front of each other. So Travis surprised Mackenzie with a sweet backyard proposal at their best friend’s house. The couple planned to attend a “house-warming party” afterward, but Mackenzie couldn’t contain her excitement and wanted to stop by her parent’s house prior to the event. Surprisingly enough, when her parents opened the door, the couple’s families and friends were there waiting to celebrate their engagement. “It was so special and amazing because I have never been surprised in my entire life, and this day completely blew me away,” says Mackenzie.
