Elise, a lawyer, and Jeremy, a financial analyst, met at Elise’s sister’s wedding, where Jeremy, a close friend of the couple, was a groomsman. Flash forward to a sunny spring day in 2019; the couple spent it at The Houston Zoo. Jeremy nervously popped the question near the elephant enclosure, elephants being Elise’s favorite animal.

Sarah and TJ met while working in downtown Houston. With their desks conveniently across from one another, the two would talk for hours. “We became best friends and would get lunch and coffee together every day. That grew into messaging on skype all day at work and barely getting any work done,” says Sarah. “I remember thinking there was no possible way I could ever have enough time with TJ.”

Niku, a News and Traffic Anchor for the San Antonio news station KENS-5 and Geno, who is in the Air Force Special Ops, were total strangers until meeting at a coffee shop in the Alamo City. After exchanging glances, Geno invited Niku to sit with him. Three and a half hours later, they suddenly “noticed the time and were both shocked at how two strangers had such a strong connection,” says Niku.

Like a romantic scene straight out of a classic movie, Devon and Soleil met in a chance meeting on a flight from NYC to Dallas. After a long three-hour snow delay, Soleil hurried to a seat she had previously traded back to the airline due to what she thought was an overbooked flight. Little did she know, she’d be seated next to the love of her life. When she arrived at her assigned seat, she locked eyes with a handsome stranger. After some frazzled confusion and a brief apology, Soleil slid into the seat next to Devon just in time for the plane’s departure. This is where the couple’s story officially begins.
