With a partner as sweet as Robert, it’s no wonder why Leslie said, “Yes,” to him. “He proposed at our home on Christmas Eve before being joined by family. He wanted us to each open one gift that night, so I suspected something was up,” recalled Leslie. “I opened a photo album that had ‘The Mays’ engraved on the front. The album was filled with pictures of us, and the last page had an insert that read ‘Engagement photo?'” Awww. Their rustic autumn wedding at picturesque Briscoe Manor had everything we love: lush, bright florals; outdoor “I do’s;” and tons of candlelight at a party that lasted deep into the night. Following their moonlit ceremony, the newlyweds, along with 150 of their closest family and friends, feasted on pecan smoked pork loin with truffle mustard and chicken with Kentucky Bourbon teriyaki.
