What’s the only thing better than taking a photo next to the SOLD sign in front of your very first “together home?” Um, that’d be when your longtime boyfriend, and co-habitant in that together home, drops down on one knee in front of said sign and pops the question! That’s the love story of Kelsy and Marco, who first met at a Houston restaurant one fine winter day back in 2011, introduced by mutual friends. Their Christmastime wedding took place on yet another fine winter day, in the presence of 150 loved ones, at elegant ranch-style venue, Briscoe Manor.
A palette of red and white with touches of black and lots of seasonal greenery set the tone for a relaxed and festive Christmastime wedding celebration. Following a serene ceremony in Briscoe Manor’s lovely limestone chapel, celebrants gathered to feast on pecan-crusted chicken and four-layer buttercream-filled wedding cake, at place-settings decorated with candy canes! Parting favors of Christmas bells and yummy cookies sent guests home with the holiday spirit in hand, while the newlyweds exited beneath a shower of “snow.” We wish our very best to this sweet Houston couple, who celebrate their two-year anniversary this month–congratulations, Kelsy and Marco!! Love their venue? We do, too! See more from Briscoe Manor, including Real Weddings, styled shoots and client testimonials, here!
