Noelle and Whitson first met online in 2016, “when dating apps were still finding their way and we were both a little more wide-eyed about love,” Noelle says. Months later, a job relocation to Dallas led them to part ways. Whitson stayed in touch with birthday wishes and “just thinking of you” texts for six years. It wasn’t until he invited her to a Justin Bieber concert that something shifted. “I said yes, but made it very clear that it was just for the concert. No strings, just Biebz.” From that night on, he launched what Noelle calls his “A-game campaign,” making regular trips to Dallas to win her back. When she finally agreed to date again, Whitson cried tears of joy.

He proposed at Golden Hour in Buffalo Bayou Park, disguised as a family holiday photo session. “It was a true holiday surprise under the Houston skies!” Noelle says. A festive engagement party followed, surrounded by loved ones.

The couple wed on April 26, 2025. Noelle wore a sleek Rita Vinieris gown paired with a dramatic peony cape by Nicole + Felicia Couture. Following a traditional church ceremony, they celebrated at Thompson Houston, by Hyatt, where the grand ballroom was transformed into a scene of decadent glamour. Lush white florals, moody lighting, custom Art Deco tables and rich metallics in gold, black, and silver brought to life a vision of Gatsby-inspired luxury. Guests enjoyed signature cocktails, a multi-course dinner and two cakes by Susie’s Cakes: a towering seven-tier floral showpiece and a University of Texas stadium groom’s cake.

Their favorite moment? A cinematic first dance to “The Power of Love” by Céline Dion. “It was a moment of pure drama, beauty and love,” Noelle says. “Theatrical, yes, but also a deeply intimate moment of a love story years in the making.”
