In Spring 2024, the Astorian proudly debuts Le Tesserae, a 20,000-square-foot indoor/outdoor private event space and rooftop bar overlooking Buffalo Bayou. Guests will be greeted by a stunning reception lobby, extensively detailed with a hand-laid mosaic floor and crown-molded ceiling, before entering the spacious ballroom, enveloped by floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing patrons to seamlessly flow between inside and outside settings. The venue design blends old-world artistry with modern architecture and incorporates natural and urban elements, from its wraparound balcony and covered patio to its unobstructed views of downtown Houston.

Le Tesserae can comfortably accommodate a variety of events, including weddings, receptions, corporate meetings, social gatherings, and proprietary programming. Adjacent is a 5,000-square-foot rooftop bar perfect for small group gatherings, happy hours, after-parties, and outdoor private events.
