Savannah + Jon Paul
Savannah, an OR nurse, and Jon Paul, a farmer, met during a spring break trip to the Frio River. Although the river lacked cell service, that didn't stop destiny from having the two continuously run into each other…and realize they were meant to be. "I came home and told my parents I had found the man I was going to marry...little did they know I wasn't kidding," remembers Savannah. After managing a long-distance relationship involving a five-hour drive between them, Jon Paul proposed to Savannah at the San Antonio River Walk, with their parents present—"I was completely surprised," Savannah says. The couple wed at La Estancia Bella, a charming 100-acre cattle ranch with a custom-built barn venue and expansive views of the Texas Hill Country. Their rustic celebration featured a delicious Tex-Mex menu to fuel guests for hours of dancing before the couple made their grand exit under an arc of gold sparklers.
