While they both grew up in Huntsville just one school grade apart, Rachel and Taylor didn’t truly connect until one fateful night in 2014. That’s when the couple happened to catch up with mutual friends at a local watering hole and got to chatting about camping and vinyls. “Next thing we know we had a camping trip and a ‘you bring the record player and I’ll provide the records’ date planned,” Rachel recounts. “Since then we’ve been inseparable.” In November 2017, florist Plants N’ Petals transformed a covered arena at Huntsville’s Cowboy Country into a “whimsical fairytale wedding” for rodeo cowboy Taylor’s marriage to his beloved Rachel. Dressed in Hayley Paige from Now & Forever Bridal Boutique, Rachel said her vows to Taylor in a sun-drenched outdoor ceremony, before segueing into a celebration with 500 of the couple’s nearest and dearest. “From start to finish, the dance floor and the Volkswagen-van Polaroid photo booth were where all the action was,” the bride recounts. “The night was a dream.”
