“With no preamble or major fanfare, sitting with our foreheads touching, and looking down into the space between us, I heard a soft, ‘Will you marry me?’” Jessica recalls. “I seriously wasn't sure if Trey had said it or if I had just imagined that he had asked what I had so wanted him to. I took a moment and asked myself if I did, in fact, want to marry him, and without hesitation, I heard my heart say, ‘Yes,’ and so I echoed my heart’s answer.” And just like that, this California girl married her third-generation-Houstonian boy, with an intimate ceremony beneath The Houstonian Hotel, Club & Spa’s iconic giant oak tree, followed by a food-focused celebration with a “French garden party via California and Texas” feel, notes the bride.
