Jessica + David
Introduced by a mutual friend in 2010, it wasn't until a year later that Jessica and David—who worked for the company but in different departments—bumped into each other in front of the office elevators. Five years later, on a Colorado ski trip, during their first-ever "white Christmas" (they had just moved to the United States from Perth, Western Australia), David proposed "in front of the town-square Christmas tree, under the lights, with snow gently falling," Jessica says. The couple tied the knot at King River Ranch in the Texas Hill Country, with a "20s-vintage meets-60s-retro-with-a-splash-of-country-glam" wedding. Venue owner and in-house designer David Hahn "drew inspiration from my dress, which was vintage and lacy, and from David's tux, which was blue with black lapels, straight out of the David Bowie film, 'Absolute Beginners,'" she adds.
