Fiona + Julian
University of Texas med school grads Fiona and Julian met while volunteering at St. David's hospital in Austin. Julian planned a scavenger hunt as a Christmas present for Fiona. "We got started and found clues at the places we hold dearest to our hearts," says the bride: "the bar on Rainey Street where we had our first drinks, St. David's hospital where we met, the park where he asked me to be his girlfriend, and the Starbucks on campus that we frequented for coffee dates." At last, Fiona found the final clue down a trail along Lady Bird Lake, which read, "You probably thought this was going to say, 'The End,' but really it's just the beginning." Against the scenic backdrop of the Austin skyline, Julian asked Fiona to be his wife. The couple wed in a Catholic church ceremony where Fiona walked down the aisle in a beautiful lace gown from Houston's Parvani Vida Bridal & Formal. The wedding decor was classic and timeless, with neutral colors to highlight the ornate elegance of their historic hotel wedding venue. The memorable night ended with guests tossing white rose petals as the newlyweds departed by horse-drawn carriage
