Erin + Taylor
A word to the wise: If you’re planning a surprise marriage proposal that involves plane travel, make sure you’ve packed plenty of patience and an extra set of go-with-the-flow for your trip! Just ask Taylor, whose planned Montana-ski-trip proposal to Erin almost didn’t happen. After lengthy weather delays and 12 hours of travel, Taylor finally got his chance, on a pitch-dark balcony in the snow. “It was the best surprise a girl could ask for,” Erin says. The couple’s winter wedding celebrated the season with birch trees, lush white centerpieces, accents of wintry gray and blue, and a wall of winter-white paper flowers hand-made by the bride’s sister. “The most important thing to us was for people to be dancing from start to finish, and that’s exactly what happened,” the bride adds. “I don’t think I left the dance floor all night!”
