College sweethearts Elizabeth and Conner's love story was foretold in a rather unique way: through a dance-off! "His fraternity and my sorority were paired up for a lip-sync/dance-off event," recounts Elizabeth. "I signed up for the team because I knew that Conner would be there, and we chose each other as dance partners. Part of the choreography was that the guys would get down on one knee and 'propose' to the girls. It turned out to be a great foreshadowing moment." For his real proposal to Elizabeth, Conner booked a private tasting room at a California winery, and surprised his newly betrothed by having both of their families outside to celebrate with them. Following their church ceremony, the couple joined 340 friends and family members at the historic St. Anthony Hotel in San Antonio. The reception decor featured crystal chandeliers, modern floral arrangements, cobalt-blue tablecloths and lush greenery. The couple's favorite moment? "Getting to the dance floor and being able to see our guests both on the ground floor and up in the balcony was thrilling," the bride says. "We felt so loved, celebrated and joyful in that moment."
