Bridgette + Joshua
It was Bridgette’s second date with Joshua that really sealed the deal for her. As the pair, who met online, lived two hours apart, they decided to meet halfway for dinner in a small town. Since there was nothing to do after dinner but visit the local Walmart, they did just that. “Josh bought me a planner I needed for the classes I was taking at Texas State University, and one of my favorite childhood board games,” Bridgette recounts. “We sat in the parking lot sharing wonderful conversation and playing Connect Four for hours.” The next day, Bridgette told her best friend, “I know you’re going to think I’m crazy, but I really think he could be the one.” And he was. The couple celebrated their marriage at Wimberly’s romantic Old Glory Ranch, surrounded by candlelight and magnificent Hill Country landscape. She says: “We loved having my uncle marry us, dancing the night away, and getting to celebrate my grandfather’s 90th birthday at our reception.”
