Andrea + Scott
A chance meeting at The Houstonian Hotel, Club & Spa, where she was a catering manager and he was a guest, turned into a two-decades-long engagement…although they couldn't have anticipated how long it would be, when Scott proposed to Andrea on Dec. 15, 1998. "It's been the longest engagement ever!" the bride jokes. The couple chose Vail, Colo., for their intimate destination wedding, where dear friends Jim Gray, of Grayhouse Events Atelier, and Chef Lance Fegen (both former Houstonian Hotel colleagues), created a winter wonderland filled with elegance, romance and delicious cuisine. On the day of their 20th anniversary as a couple, Andrea walked down the rustic church aisle in a timeless Romona Keveža gown from Joan Pillow Bridal Salon to say, "I do," to her beloved. "Being able to celebrate this long-overdue event with our family and friends, who traveled from Australia, Costa Rica and all over the United States during the busy holiday season to join us in one of our favorite spots in the world," was an unforgettable experience for the bride and her groom. Guests enjoyed snowmobiling and skiing, while the couple's dog, Harvey, a VIP guest at the destination festivities, had a great time, too!
