Amy, a native Houstonian, moved to Washington D.C. for a job in 2018, where she met Chad the first weekend she lived there. The couple took their relationship slowly but fell in love and got engaged two years later at the Houstonian Hotel Club and Spa. Amy says, “We walked into the lobby to admire the decorations when Chad walked out from behind their massive 20-foot Christmas tree. Amid my shock, he managed to walk me outside beneath the Houstonian’s famous hundreds-year-old, light-wrapped oak tree and popped the question! He didn’t so much make it down to one knee before I took his face in my hands and squealed, ‘yes!'” Click here to read the rest of this post »

Reality TV star, Jordan Kimball, a former contestant on The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise, met the love of his life, “total rom-com style,” at the LAX airport. Christina, a teacher from Houston, was the one who ultimately stole his heart. They ended up going on a date the same day they met, and after some time, a proposal was in the makes. Jordan booked a photographer on Christmas Eve and planned on proposing during their family photos. The ring arrived just hours before, and Jordan had to drive to FedEx to retrieve it. A sprinkling of rain on your wedding day means good luck, and Angie and Kevin were indeed blessed.
Greg was smitten when Meredith first messaged him on the dating app, Bumble, and said, “Hi LG!” since only his family called him by that nickname. Fast forward in time, Greg surprised Meredith with a weekend trip to his hometown in San Antonio, TX. It was in his hometown that Greg chose to propose to Meredith on the balcony of the historic Hotel Emma. Unfortunately, just a few months after their engagement, Meredith’s mother was diagnosed with cancer. Unable to make it to the wedding, Meredith and Greg found meaningful ways to honor her.
For their fall wedding, the couple chose to wed at the timeless and elegant Briscoe Manor. Meredith’s father officiated the wedding ceremony in the Briscoe Chapel, accompanied by 275 of their closest loved ones. They exchanged their vows in front of a stunning gold arch draped with florals and greenery. The bride described her wedding as “classic with a hint of modern” and thoughtfully included both wine and blush throughout the ceremony and reception. Even the deer mounts hanging on the bar walls had a wine and blush floral touch! Garden floral arrangements beautifully decorated the tables along with silver dollar eucalyptus hanging from the chandeliers and fireplace. Behind the Bash kept fall in mind, serving up a decadent fall salad with fresh spinach leaves, complete with a carving station offering both herb-crusted beef sirloin and pork loin stuffed with jalapeno cheddar cornbread. Later that evening, white glow sticks and flower crowns were a hit on the dance floor! One of their favorite memories of the wedding was the fabulous firework display before riding off in a pearl-colored Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud II from Monarch British Limousines.
