A decade ago, Ariel and Jake met at a local bar in Katy and had been inseparable ever since. Jake popped the big question a few days after their son Lincoln’s first birthday. Ariel had him tag along on a full-day shopping spree, and when they arrived back at the house, Ariel opened the door to Jake on one knee. “Of course, I cried and said YES! A quaint coffee date in college turned into a proposal on a gorgeous autumn day in Lake Tahoe, CA, for Mackenzie and Ryan.

On March 30, 2021, the couple’s timeless Brenham wedding was at Deep in the Heart Farms, a property with 150 acres of rolling green hills and ancient oak trees. The couple knew they wanted a wedding that highlighted the “beauty and true meaning of marriage” from the start. So after an emotional first touch, Mackenzie and Ryan pledged their love in a light-filled chapel with an altar decorated with lush greenery and pops of blush and ivory Peonies, Roses and Ranunculus.
