A decade ago, Ariel and Jake met at a local bar in Katy and had been inseparable ever since. Jake popped the big question a few days after their son Lincoln’s first birthday. Ariel had him tag along on a full-day shopping spree, and when they arrived back at the house, Ariel opened the door to Jake on one knee. “Of course, I cried and said YES! They ran into each other again and spent the evening talking nonstop on an outdoor heated patio under the trees when Nick finally asked her on a date.
