Love the soft, romantic-yet-fashion-forward wedding gown from our March cover? We do, too!
Our featured wedding gown is by luxury designer Naeem Khan, who commands a devoted following of fashion-forward Houston brides. And Houston’s go-to retailer for finding Naeem Khan Bridal is none other Weddings in Houston partner Joan Pillow Bridal Salon. Most recently, Naeem Khan unveiled his Fall 2019 bridal collection to rave reviews. Known for his elaborate, spotlight-stealing design accents–heavy fringe, tiers of tulle, Halston-inspired thigh-high slits (he launched his career at age 20 as an apprentice for the famed designer)–Khan’s new bridal collection is somewhat more restrained, though no less exquisite. In this fall 2019 bridal collection, you’ll find classic ballgowns; sophisticated sheaths; graceful, almost modest necklines; and more than a few Bohemian touches (poet sleeves, anyone??). What’s most notable about the Naeem Khan 2019 bridal collection is its suggestion of a “bridal wardrobe,” rather than just the dress. Many of the designer’s brides, like many of Joan Pillow Bridal Salon’s clients, are seeking not one, but two or three dresses for their wedding celebration. Demand is high for individual, and distinctly different, ceremony and reception dresses. Often the wedding ceremony gown will be stately, regal, opulent, while the wedding reception dress (or dresses!) will be shorter, sexier and easier to move around in. Naeem Khan and Joan Pillow offer both. And the options are amazing.
